Mental Health First Aid Training With Licensed Principal Master Instructor - Julie Gillespie Your facilitator, Julie, is a workplace specialist that has an Executive MBA and lived experience with mental ill health. You will come to understand Mental Health First Aid® (MHFA) and its frameworks, you will also gain the skills to be more comfortable and confident having conversations with someone who is showing signs of change. Julie runs an interactive course where there is co-designed safety, inclusivity, and openness. Following the Standard MHFA™ format, we use workplace scenarios to focus the conversations to be supportive of co-workers who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence based Action Plan. This course provides a 3-year accreditation on successful completion of an online quiz. This is a 2-day course starting at 9am and finishing at 5pm on both days. To become an accredited MHFA™ Officer you must attend the full 2 days and complete the online quiz afterwards. Price is per participant and includes GST Parking: There is parking on site TERMS & CONDITIONS: No refunds will be given for a change of mind. We may allow you to reschedule Services within three (3) months at no extra charge, within our absolute discretion. It is possible that activities undertaken during the Mental Health First Aid® course may bring up personal issues. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in a state to be able to partake in the course and activities required. We provide mental health first aid and as a first responder will encourage you to get appropriate professional help.
